Recycling has become more important in the present world. Tara uses most of the waste material like newspaper, magazine paper, second hand clothes, polythene, groom, waste computer parts, wood, stone and bone in making the crafts.

Water Conservation

In the current scenario water crisis has become a global problem. Water is an important resource for human life. We are extracting water from ground for the agriculture purposes; infrastructure development, industries, personal use and we are not giving back the water to the ground. Therefore, to deal with this situation, Tara is working to conserve and save rain water through number of actions like construction of rain water harvesting structures, pond repairing and cleaning, awareness campaign in the schools and in the villages in various states Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Waste management is also one of the main actions of Tara. Tara organizes various awareness programmes, street plays, meetings, second hand things collection drives, village clean drives on regular basis.
